Counselling

We can all go through periods of difficulty and transition in our lives or we may experience feelings that concern us. Friends and family may not always have the time, ability or neutrality to help— or maybe we feel unable to share some problems with them. Ignoring problems doesn't always solve them and can lead to symptoms such as depression and anxiety. A counsellor or therapist offers a safe, supportive and confidential environment and can guide and support you, helping you to gain insight and can empower you to make changes where appropriate without attempting to give advice or be judgemental. Treatment would usually take place on a weekly basis. We have facilities for counselling deaf people.
